Theatre Camps - new!
Kids 4 Broadway comes to YOUR facility!
Students audition for one of our Kids 4 Broadway productions on a Monday morning, are cast by noon and begin rehearsing that same afternoon. They rehearse every day for a week ( 3 hours in the morning - 3 hours in the afternoon) - which culminates in a performance for the community on Friday or Saturday.
Students who are not cast in the production, but who wish to become involved, receive training in and implement set design, photography, programs, lights, sound, backstage management, etc. (This requires some Youth Services staff coordination which is accomplished through one or two conference calls prior to my arrival - as well as a few meetings early in the theatre camp week.) Production notes and script sent well in advance of the theatre camp.
This is great fun for students and staff alike - and a tremendous
self-confidence booster for actors AND crew!
